The January 23, 2016 CADD BUS TOUR begins at 4:00 pm and continues to
8:00 pm. Starting with new CADD member, LILIANA BLOCH GALLERY,
named by the Dallas Observer Best Art Gallery in 2015. LBG recently moved to the Design District in one of the areas that Michael Granberry from the Dallas Morning News has called “A hipster’s paradise”. Visitors will enjoy a private viewing and discussion of Bogdan Perzynski’s piece TABLE, a monumental installation of hundreds of photographs that reflect the artist fascination in objects’ abilities to turn numbers into values and how they shape our perception. For additional information about the gallery please visit lilianablochgallery.com.

Your 2nd stop is CADD member gallery THE PUBLIC TRUST located in the same building. Guests will have an opportunity to view the current exhibition. For more information, please visit trustthepublic.com.

Then jump on the bus to visit and tour the new Contemporary Art Collection at the
UT Southwestern William P.  Clements Jr. Hospital. The works of art were selected for the hospital by Carneal Simmons Contemporary Art consultants Alan Simmons and Lindsey Carneal and by Dr. Jeffrey Grove, former curator at the Dallas Museum of Art. The collection highlights local and nationally known artists, many of whom are represented by CADD Galleries. The collection contains more than 2200 works of art and is an ongoing project.

Final stop will be new CADD member, MARY TOMÁS GALLERY. Visitors will be introduced to art advisor and guest curator Ashley Tatum. Tatum is well known in the art world and she lends her keen eye and expertise to MTG with a curated group exhibit titled CORE II. Selecting works from the best of the galleries roster the exhibit will introduce patrons to the local, national, and international artists represented at MTG. Ashley will talk briefly about her art advisory business and how she interacts with patrons, collectors and galleries. Also present will be some of the artists whose works will be included in the exhibit. Please visit marytomasgallery.com and tatumartadvisory.com for more information.
